The Parà Group has earned the reputation for manufacturing some of the industry’s highest quality textiles. “Made in Italy” with a strong focus on every detail – from the spinning and weaving stages, through the printing and dyeing, to the coating and finishing line – the Parà Group has become synonymous with high-end quality, style and service.
During the Tempotest production process, the fabric is introduced into the Teflon Extreme finishing bath creating a strong bond with the fiber and forming an invisible barrier. Due to this feature, water in the barrier cleans away at dirt, resulting in a longer lasting and stronger fabric.
All Tempotest fabrics are also given a special Hi-Clean finishing. As a result of this process, the material is given an impenetrable barrier without compromising the fabrics breathability. Customers and clientele can enjoy a fabric resistant to water, grease, and oil as well as protects against rotting and the formation of mold and fungus. Tempotest allows customers to enjoy more, rather than clean their fabrics; dust and other particles will be automatically washed away from water or rain.
Fabric Selection Factors
Customers and clientele alike look for a fabric that fits their needs and preference. Tempotest fabrics are all given:
-Solar Heat Protection
- As Darker patterns often offer better heat protection, customers can choose if decreasing the temperature under the awning to its minimum. Darker fabrics also absorb heat more efficiently than lighter fabrics, in which case a customer might select a lighter color fabric as it ‘may feel cooler’.
– Solar Light Protection
- Dark patterns minimize sun glare as opposed to lighter patterns, resulting in the area under your awning to be brighter.
– UV Protection
- It can be dangerous to sit out in the sun for too long, Tempotest materials have proven to preform well against UV rays, letting customers enjoy their awnings and worry less of their health. Darker patterns typically provide better protection against UV rays than opposed to lighter patterns.
Tempotest Marine® and Awning Fabric
It is simple to remove air pollution, smog, and other kinds of harmful particles from the Tempotest fabrics. Simply just apply some hot water and soap, rinse thoroughly and leave fabric to dry in open air..
Tempotest fabrics can be machine washed up to a temperature of 85°F without losing their water- and stain-resistant properties. Using a mild laundry soap or a similar non-detergent based product, Tempotest fabrics can be easily washed and continue to perform.
